“There is no condemnation now for those who are in the Lord. The Spirit of life has set you free from sin…For God has done what we, our sinful flesh, could not do…By sending his Son Jesus in the likeness of sinful flesh, he condemned sin in the flesh in order that the righteousness within us would walk according to the Spirit and not according to the flesh…But those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit…and life…and peace…If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, the same Spirit will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you!” Romans 8:1-8

In order to grow in spiritual maturity, we have got to know the Word of God. The Word of God is Truth and knowing the Truth makes you free and keeps you free. Free from what? The schemes and tricks of the evil one(s).

And, the Word of God tells me this one thing: We are saved, if, in fact, you believe and have faith in Jesus Christ. We are justified by faith alone on the basis of God’s overwhelming grace. No sin-present, past or future-can be held against you since the penalty was paid by Christ and righteousness was imputed to the believer. And, no sin will ever reverse this divine legal action.
Paul is the author of the scripture this week. Paul was writing this epistle to the members of the church in Rome, the capital of the Roman Empire. Paul was born around the same time as Jesus, the Christ, in Asia Minor. He was educated in Jerusalem under the renowned rabbi Gamaliel. Paul was a Pharisee, the strictest Jewish sect. Paul came into the saving grace from God on the Damascus road. Now, we find Paul a saved Christian, boldly going around the world starting Christian Churches. He is in Corinth writing this scripture above to the Romans. Paul as an inner strength granted through the power of God’s SPIRIT (Phil. 4:13). The grace of God proved sufficient to provide for his every need,

(2 Cor 12), enabling this servant to finish his spiritual race. As Paul leads us through Romans 8, the truth is to be told that we can be delivered through any sin (because we all have sinned Rom 3:23) by 1) Confessing the Truth and quit lying to ourselves, 2) Know how to appropriate the Grace of God, 3) Pray that you don’t sin, and 4) Lean on the Holy Spirit’s power. Be Blessed. Dr. Dowe
Tell the TRUTH; GRACE appropriated; PRAY; & LEAN ON the HOLY SPIRIT. It’s a process! NO CONDEMNATION FOR THOSE THAT WALK in the SPIRIT
