“Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!  God has given us this task of reconciling people to him.  God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them…We are Christ’s Ambassadors…when we plead, Come back to God!”.  2 Corinthians 5:17-22    NLT

God’s desire is for all people to be saved and for none to be lost. He does not want pain to teach you what the Bible will help you with. We find that Paul is the author of The Word for the Week. Paul wrote this letter around 55 A.D.  to the church in Corinth because some were questioning his character, authority and motives. Listen to Paul’s words of exhortation and love. Christian’s should be committed to the truth of God’s Word and be prepared to reject all false teaching. God’s Able Ambassadors are really God’s Disciples (see last week’s Word under webpage’s blog). We learned that as Determined Disciples who follow Christianity, we are obedient to Deny our selfish ways; Take up our cross; and Follow Christ. In response, as Able Ambassadors we can bless somebody else because Christ lives in us. As Able Ambassadors, we are Christ’s believers sent with his message of reconciliation to the world. How well are you doing as an Able Ambassador? When was the last time you saw Christ? HINT: Look in the mirror

Remember this:

For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory”.  Colossians 1:27

Other Aspects to an Able Ambassador:

1) Be Obedient to God according to His Word rather than to how you feel from one day to next

2) Worship every Sunday because you appreciate how good God has been to you

3) Attend weekly Bible Study because of a hunger and thirst for The Truth, which sets you free

4) Have a heart to give Tithes offering because you realize God is the source of your supply

5) Be an Able Ambassador for Christ because you realize you are commissioned to share Christ with others.

We, at Med Life Fit encourage you to be Able Ambassadors. Although your conversation may begin with someone else about weight loss, or how your blood sugar and blood pressure levels have decreased for the better, remember to tell them, “Ye are the Light of the World” “Look at Me. I am His representative. I have been sent to share!”.

Don’t forget to attend the Lifestyle Change Group meetings in December. See Calendar on webpage for dates
